Intro to Git & Github Workshops

If you’ve ever wondered what Git and GitHub are and why they are so popular, then join us for this 2-day virtual workshop, where you’ll get hands-on with Git software and the Github platform!

We’ll explore:

• The Command Line Interface
• Basics of version control
• Essential git concepts, such as commits, branches, conflicts, and local vs remote repositories
• Core features of Github - including collaboration via Pull Requests

So -  whether you are a total beginner with little/no coding experience, or an intermediate level developer looking to sharpen your skills, there’ll be something for everyone!

• Git: local vs remote repositories
• GitHub

IMPORTANT - You must attend both workshops so only RSVP if you can attend the Monday and Tuesday evening.
