codebar is a charity that is committed to transforming lives through tech education and diversifying the industry. We achieve this by running free programming workshops for minority group members in tech.

We launched in October 2013 in London, and since then we have started chapters in 35 locations around the world and had over 17,000 people attend a codebar workshop.

Job Brief

Experience is not important for this role, we want someone who is passionate about design and excited about developing codebar further. codebar already has a brand book so you will be using this as your starting point.

What will you do?

We are looking for someone to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of our social platforms. Below is a list of things you may be asked to do, however, we would also like your input on where we can improve.

  • Create graphics for social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Design presentations (the content will be there, you’ll need to make it look good)
  • Create infographics
  • Bonus - we often use canva to create graphics, so familiarity with it is a plus but not necessary.
  • Bonus - if you can edit videos then double the hours per month listed below

  • Working Hours: 4-6 hours a month
  • Rate: £25 an hour
  • Deadline: Friday 7th May
  • Contract Length: Initial 3 months with an option to extend
