I started programming as a hobby around 17 years ago. At that time I also was into video-game hacking. Much later, I realised I could make a living from my hobby and took it seriously. I'm currently working for 8thLight and liking functional programming
Hey! I am trying to get my girlfriend to one of these events after I met one of the organizers at a screening of CODE in Berlin. So, I thought maybe I could be a coach and then she would have to come. I worked as a Python programmer since 3 years.
I am a graduate of Founders & Coders, a 16-week coding bootcamp. I have recently helped to run a week teaching Elm to the current cohort. I really enjoyed being a mentor and passing on what I have learnt. A bit cliche but it was super rewarding!
Love to help people out, either with helping them find their own way through a problem, or with more structured tutorials. Got my start with BASIC & PHP, and have had a long chunk of JS, Ruby and other things since. Am currently diving into Elixir. 😊
I'd like to use my coding skills to help people learn to code. I like Functional Programming and currently I work for Codurance. I have done (either professionally or purely for learning) Haskell, Scala, PHP, Ruby, Java, JS, React and others :)
