I enjoy mentoring, and have trained a few graduates in Java (Spring, JPA) and JS (React). I like students who have questions, and can communicate what they're thinking. Advanced students get a lot out of me. I also like low-level stuff and devops.
I'm happy to pass down my knowledge on web/frontend development and help people who want to try/pivot their career but need a bit more encouragement to do so. I'm a product engineer, in the past I've volunteered in meetup and worked in bank/startup

I am a software engineer working for a small startup called Balena. I’ve been working in the industry for 3-5 years and coding for about 8. My main stack is node and React but I also have experience with Python and Django. I’m self taught
