I've worked in tech for a long time, and been involved with various meetups in my home town in NZ, but here in Brighton I'd like to add a more active mentoring component. A long time ago I was a lab tutor at a university, and very much enjoyed it.
I want to coach! I have been writing software professionally since 2013, and as an amateur for 25 years before that. I'm currently working in C# (with heavy reliance on the functional library language-ext) but my strongest language is probably Python.
Hello, I’m a Junior Web Developer who has recently completed a 3 month Full-Stack Software Engineering Immersive course over at General Assembly. I’m really keen to apply what I've learnt and would be looking to make friends and mentors in the industry.
I've coached at Codebar @ Google sessions. I've been a Software Engineer for ~15 years in the industry, the last 9 years of which as an SRE at Google. I typically work in Python and Go, but have an interest in Rust. Outside of work I play D&D.
I'm a full stack developer with LAMP and MERN stack experience. Myself is one of underrepresented group in the tech field. I would like to help more people from this group to get into the tech field for better tomorrow.
I have been learning to code with Founders and Coders since March, having worked on the pre requisites for the course all last year. We have dived deep into HTML, CSS and JS and I'm keen to share my knowledge with other learners.
I finished Makers in October 2017, and since then I've worked as a backend developer at Funding Circle. At codebar I'd be happy to help with any problems, from working on basics, solving katas etc. to helping someone trying to build out an application
I'd like to do my part in reducing disparity by helping others get support in learning to code. I used to do research in educational technologies and computer science education. I've now been a developer for 5 years so hopefully have experience to share
I've been a programmer for 10 years and currently work as a software engineer at StatsBomb who provide sports analytics. I feel I should be doing something to help underrepresented people in tech so I would like to coach at codebar.
I'm happy to pass down my knowledge on web/frontend development and help people who want to try/pivot their career but need a bit more encouragement to do so. I'm a product engineer, in the past I've volunteered in meetup and worked in bank/startup
I would like to help and encourage other women and lgbt people of all ages to learn to code. I have worked as a developer for 2 years now after doing a bootcamp. And one day I would like to work in a team where I'm not the odd one out!
Hey, my name is Manjoot - I'm a junior developer from the UK who loves web development! I've always enjoyed using my knowledge to help and uplift others- whether its being a mentor to CS students in high school or leading projects at my coding bootcamp.
I would love to help out with the front end side of codebar, helping to nurture underrepresented talent and eventually coach my own workshops. It would mean a lot to help others going through the same thing that I went through!
Hello! After 10 years in digital marketing I realised that the aspects of my job I loved the most were the ones in which I got to bury my head in code 🚀 I've just completed the #100DaysOfCode challenge and I want to help others find the joy of coding!
I am a software engineer working for a small startup called Balena. I’ve been working in the industry for 3-5 years and coding for about 8. My main stack is node and React but I also have experience with Python and Django. I’m self taught
I really enjoy mentoring people who are learning to code and talking to them about their projects. I currently work as a full-stack web developer at WhiteHat. Previously I had an academic career, including a fair amount of university teaching experience.
I’d like to help out in a coaching capacity. In the past I’ve helped out with Step into Tech events so have some experience with mentoring. I’m currently working at BT as a Cloud Software Architect, working with a variety of tech daily
I'm a Software Engineer at FindMyPast based in Scotland. I work across the stack so I have experience building front-end apps as well as building backend services. I'm a Certified Scrum Master so ask me about agile and scrum!
