I've coded as an amateur and a student for more than 20 yrs. Went pro last year via WDI at GA. I want to be a part of a more inclusive, balanced work environment, and tweeting stuff probably isn't going to get me there. This has a better chance imo.
I think it would be great to contribute to the community in a meaningful way. I enjoy teaching both basic and advanced coding concepts. I've grown, led and coached development teams. I've held various talks and presentations on Python (~7 years).
Hi, I've been a developer for 13 years, working in lots of different areas, including video games, networked audio and web development. I really love programming and programming languages. I'm also a trans woman, a lesbian and a total nerd.

I am a graduate of Founders & Coders, a 16-week coding bootcamp. I have recently helped to run a week teaching Elm to the current cohort. I really enjoyed being a mentor and passing on what I have learnt. A bit cliche but it was super rewarding!
I've just recently graduated from a local coding bootcamp (Northcoders Manchester) and I'm looking to embed the knowledge I've picked up by coaching others, helping them overcome problems I've experienced and new ones.
I have graduated from Makers (previously Makers Academy) in March 2018. I have worked at the Telegraph Media Group from April 2018 till Dec 2018. I now work at a startup Unmortgage and would like to help others to get their coding skills polished.
Love to help people out, either with helping them find their own way through a problem, or with more structured tutorials. Got my start with BASIC & PHP, and have had a long chunk of JS, Ruby and other things since. Am currently diving into Elixir. 😊
I am a fulltime web developer, with fullstack web development experience. As part of my job, I get deployed to client site to work with different people on varies of projects, to both upskill myself and help to support everyone around me.
Just completed a Masters in Sound Design. Besides patching in Max/MSP & Pd, I did C# scripting in Unity, Arduino, and poem data extraction in Python. Most confident with Python. As a habitual learner, I believe I have the awareness to be a good teacher.
