Hello! I'm a passionate full-stack software engineer with over 10 years of experience working in the tech space. I've volunteered several times with Founders and Coders, and wish to continue to find ways to encourage others to get into coding :)
I've coached at Codebar @ Google sessions. I've been a Software Engineer for ~15 years in the industry, the last 9 years of which as an SRE at Google. I typically work in Python and Go, but have an interest in Rust. Outside of work I play D&D.
I've helped organising (and I've mentored) a variety of events in the past, from society events at UCL, to Django Girls and she++ events in London. Codebar seems like a perfect match to keep on helping people enter tech.
Hi I'm Liam! Originally from New Zealand, now living in London. I used to be a secondary school teacher, before retraining in IT. I am now a consultant at Infinity Works. Lots of spare time on my hands right now, thought I'd help out where I can!
Hi, I'm a data scientist working at a startup. I've been in industry for just over 2 years. Primarily work with Python, some experience with DBs. I really enjoy teaching and I'd love for others to benefit from what I've learned :)
I'd like to do my part in reducing disparity by helping others get support in learning to code. I used to do research in educational technologies and computer science education. I've now been a developer for 5 years so hopefully have experience to share
I would like to teach programming with a particular focus on data science. I have a PhD in computational chemistry and have worked for the last 3 years as sports quantitative analyst at a hedge fund.
I am a software engineer working for a small startup called Balena. I’ve been working in the industry for 3-5 years and coding for about 8. My main stack is node and React but I also have experience with Python and Django. I’m self taught
I've been an engineer for over 8 years and have experience in Java, JS, Go and Python. In recent times I have been focusing on server-side development, and in the past I have worked with front-end development and Android development.
I'm a data scientist turned software engineer now working at Cloudflare. I believe technology can be a tremendous force multiplier for good in the world and actively seek out opportunities to build things that will make a positive impact
Software engineer, electronics geek and skilled computer-rebooter. I've previously been a volunteer mentor at Student Robotics and related organisations, helping teams of teens build autonomous robots.
I really enjoy mentoring people who are learning to code and talking to them about their projects. I currently work as a full-stack web developer at WhiteHat. Previously I had an academic career, including a fair amount of university teaching experience.
I'd like to help get people from knowing very little (or nothing) about programming to the point where they are comfortable enough to start working on small projects of their own. - In my own experience , that is the most important hurdle to get over.
I’d like to help out in a coaching capacity. In the past I’ve helped out with Step into Tech events so have some experience with mentoring. I’m currently working at BT as a Cloud Software Architect, working with a variety of tech daily
Working for a software company. Very much involved in coding but not only. I organise projects from a technical perspective and deliver trainings. I used to be a private teacher. Looking forward to share knowledge and be part of the community.
I'm a Junior Software Engineer currently working on software for Data Scientists using Python and C++. I also like to waste my time unnecessarily trying to fit data to machine learning models so if you have any questions about that, I'm your man!
I've worked in software development for ~6 years and recently ran a graduate bootcamp over 4 months which I really enjoyed doing. I'd like the opportunity to continue coaching and teaching and to help make our industry a more diverse and inclusive place.
I did a PhD in physics, using simulations to study the flow behaviour of materials like sand. I'm now a data engineer and am responsible for maintaining a pipeline of data for machine learning applications. In my spare time, I'm a tutor and a musician.
I love to share knowledge and enthusiasm for programming. I started out as a Java developer in clinical software, then started developing Android and iOS Apps for clients and startups. I am currently using Kotlin in the financial sector.
