Thinking about giving your first tech talk but not sure where to start? Join us for a friendly, practical session designed to walk you through typical Call for Papers (CFP) processes and help you feel confident submitting your own proposal.
In this 30-minute talk by codebar Director Kimberley Cook, we’ll cover what a CFP is, what the process looks like, what to expect in a proposal, and simple tips for preparing your talk - even if you’ve never spoken publicly before.
After the talk, we’ll have a Q&A where you can ask us anything about the process, your idea, or public speaking in general.
This talk will be virtual and held on Zoom, you'll receive the Zoom link on the morning of the talk. This will be recorded and uploaded to our YouTube channel after. If you have any questions, please drop us an email hello@codebar.io.
