Autism and the tech sector (why should I care?)
Mon, 10th June | 18:00 - 19:00 BST (GMT+01:00)

You've probably heard of autism, maybe you have a family member or colleague who is autistic. But what's that got to do with tech?

In this talk, current codebar student (and late diagnosed autistic person) Nellie Allsop will show you why everyone hoping to have a career in the tech sector should know about autism. From the basics of what it means to be autistic, to reasonable adjustments and handy VS code extensions, Nellie will explore topics that should help both autistic and non-autistic codebar members alike.

This talk will be virtual and held on Zoom, you'll receive the Zoom link on the morning of the talk. This talk will also be recorded and uploaded to our YouTube channel after. If you have any questions, please drop us an email [email protected].
