N26 and codebar iOS diversity workshops

N26 is proud to be hosting our first ever iOS workshop series in partnership with codebar. These events will be held at the N26 offices on Kurfürstenstrasse and are intended to teach YOU the basics of iOS development and allow you to develop your skills and knowledge. It's going to be great fun!!

We'd love to teach anyone who is:

  • An underrepresented member of the development community (women, LGBTQI, PoC, non-binary).
  • Familiar with a modern coding language like javascript, ruby, java, kotlin, python, etc. (You don't need to be an experienced developer, just know what a for loop or a boolean does!)
  • Able to commit to 4 x 2 hour workshops on every other Monday evening from 19th August to 30th September.
  • Can bring a Macbook that has Xcode already installed (we will have some spare computers for special cases, but please message us first).

Our talented N26 iOS developers are eager to share their knowledge with 20 keen participants and welcome some more diverse faces into the Berlin iOS community!!

The dates for the workshops will be:

  • Monday 19th August (19:00 - 21:30)
  • Monday 2nd September (19:00 - 21:30)
  • Monday 16th September (19:00 - 21:30)
  • Monday 30th September (19:00 - 21:30)

Apart from training there will be at each workshop plenty of food, drinks, and some cool N26 merchandise!

We will also make all training material available online.

Important - RSVP-ing doesn’t guarantee you a spot! We will send confirmation emails to those with a spot. This is to ensure we can help teach as many people as possible some useful skills! When signing up, please make sure you can make each listed workshop date.

Accessibility information:

Entrance is on the ground floor and is accessible with wheelchair. The workshop will not be held in the main building, but in the building to the right of the main building (bordering Schillstrasse). A sign will be up to guide you to the correct entrance.
