Version Control, Git and Github Workshop

In this workshop lead by Jessie Auguste, you will leave with a better understanding of version control and why you would use it. You will also leave having created your very first repository on GitHub.

We will also cover:

  • Basic git commands
  • How to create branches
  • Merging and merge conflicts
  • Undoing git errors!
  • Styling our github profiles

What you will need:

  • A github account
  • An IDE for example - Visual Studio or Atom

This session will be on Zoom, you'll receive the Zoom link on the morning of the session. This talks will be recorded and uploaded to our YouTube channel after the session. If you have any questions please drop us an email [email protected].
