Zhivko Siderov (He/Him): "State management with React and Redux"

An introductory talk about state management. We would look at several examples on how to use Redux with React and discuss best practices.

Anushree Subramani (she/her) : "If I decide to become a developer today, I would ..."

Anushree has had sooo many AHA moments in her years of being a developer where she felt like “Damnnn.. wish I had known about this/realised this sooner or wish this had been there when I was learning to code”. This is her best attempt at condensing all those learnings/ tips and tricks into one talk so that you can learn from her mistakes and experience. Think of it like a cheatsheet to becoming a better developer. Hopefully it will catapult your career forward and help you reach your dreams of becoming a better developer sooner.

Leare Song (she/her) : "Let's talk about Java"

It may seem a mystery to some people how Java has still managed to retain its position as one of the most popular and in demand languages in programming. If you have been coding for a bit, you may already know that Java is one of the more 'controversial' languages and many have strong opinions about it. In this talk, we will explore the subject at hand to get to the the root of both sides of the argument on a high-level as well as at a code-level and discuss the past, present and the future of Java. Through my diverse coding journey in learning various languages such as Ruby, Python, HTML/CSS, Javascript and Java - I hope I can bring a new perspective and a bit for everyone to enjoy !
