Attend our workshops to learn programming in a safe and supportive environment at your own pace, or to share your knowledge and coach our students.

We're excited to be running this in-person workshop at Cogapp.

Spaces will be limited, so please sign up in advance.

Covid protection measures

We want every participant to be as safe as possible at our workshop, so please only attend if you have been fully vaccinated (two vaccines are fine at this point as not many people have even had the chance to get a booster yet) AND have a negative test result on the day of the workshop. Stay at home if you experience any symptoms or test positive. Please wear a mask where practical during the event.
There will be hand disinfectant and masks available for you. There will also be a dedicated QR code for the event that you can scan with the NHS trace app. Please make use of this so that people can be informed if any attendant tests positive after the workshop.

Directions:

Take the lift all the way to the top (level 8). When you leave the lift, turn left and left again. The Cogapp office is at the end of that corridor.

Accessibility information:

  • Ramp and lift access from New England Street.
  • Accessible toilets.
  • Paid for parking on York Hill for up to 2 hours (south side of New England House) with ramp access to building and lifts — Please let us know in advance if you want to enter from York Hill, so someone can open the door. No parking allowed in loading bay. Nearest car park is London Road (charges apply). If we know in advance that you need to park, we might be able to arrange a space in our bay for free but you have to get in touch a week or at least a few days in advance so we can arrange this with building management (we will need your registration).
