This event has already taken place

Attend our workshops to learn programming in a safe and supportive environment at your own pace, or to share your knowledge and coach our students.

Who are our workshops for?

Whether you want to learn to code or offer up some free time to coach others, we'd love to see you at our April codebar workshop in Cardiff.

If you're interested in coaching

Many of us know it can be daunting taking your first steps in learning to code and helping someone else on their journey is a fantastic way to give back and grow your own coaching and mentoring skills. Take a look at our teaching guide. It’s easier than you think!

If you're interested in learning

If you're new to development or want to improve your skills, pair programming is a great way to accelerate your learning. We have a number of tutorials you can pick from to work through with your coach, or let us know if you're interested in learning something else.

What to expect

At the start of the event, students will be paired with coaches based on skills and interests and spend around 1.5 hours coding, with a short break in the middle for complimentary food and refreshments. Spaces are limited so please RSVP early to secure your place.
