Attend our workshops to learn programming in a safe and supportive environment at your own pace, or to share your knowledge and coach our students.

Join us for an evening of supportive 1-to-1 coaching, hands-on practice, and a welcoming community environment at Codebar Derby.

Whether you’re completely new to coding or looking to build on what you already know, this session is designed to help you grow your skills, ask questions freely, and learn at your own pace, with guidance from friendly volunteer coaches.

What to Expect

• Supportive 1-to-1 coaching with experienced volunteers
• Practical, hands-on coding time
• A relaxed, inclusive, and beginner-friendly atmosphere
• The opportunity to connect with others learning and working in tech

Schedule

• 18:00 – Arrival & Welcome
  Settle in, meet fellow attendees, and let us know what you’d like to work on.
• 18:30 – 20:30 – Coding Session
  Students pair with coaches for focused 1-to-1 learning and practical progress.

No prior experience is required. If you’re new to coding, you are very welcome.
