Together we'll recreate the iconic Warming Stripes image by Professor Ed Hawkins from the University of Reading. Using Python and data from NASA we will plot and visualise the global temperature data from 1850 to 2018 showing the progressive heating of our planet in a single, striking image. It’s a fun but vivid display in how global average temperatures have risen over nearly two centuries. It also introduces learners to coding with Python and data science concepts.
